Porter Robinson – ‘Lionhearted (feat. Urban Cone)’

By  |

Porter Robinson continues his production tear in the run-up to his debut album Worlds with the premiere of “Lionhearted,” the follow-up to previous singles “Sea of Voices” and “Sad Machine.”

The new track stands in contrast to Robinson’s previous two singles, trading in their subdued nature for an alt-electro edge. Crafting an aggressive and distinctly danceable groove, the America’s Best DJ nominee keeps the track in line with the album’s nostalgic emotions with Urban Cone’s vocals, which recall early MGMT’s early sound. With its mix of stunning progressive melodies and pulsing electro synths, “Lionhearted” is a brash declaration of Porter Robinson’s artistic identity.

Additionally, Robinson has revealed the upcoming album’s tracklist, which is set to feature appearances from Amy Millan, Imaginary Cities, Breanne Duren of Owl City, and Lemaitre (who are slated to open for Porter on his upcoming US tour). The full tracklist is below.
