Porter Robinson Announces Worlds North American Tour

By  |

Hot on the heels of the unveiling of his robo-duet “Sad Machine” and the release date of his worlds album, Porter Robinson has announced the dates of his upcoming North American Worlds tour. Kicking off on August 28—two weeks after the release of worlds—at Vogue in Vancouver, the tour will focus on concert venues in lieu of clubs, including stops at New York City’s Terminal 5, Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club, and Los Angeles, CA’s Shrine Auditorium. French dance duo Lemaitre will provide support for the tour.

Just as the new album showcases a sonic departure for Robinson, the fall tour will see him reinventing his performances by manipulating multi-tracks, triggering samples, playing midi keys, and using controllers for a fully live experience.

Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public on Thursday, May 22 at 10 AM. Fans who preorder the album by 6 PM EST on Wednesday, May 21 will immediately receive a presale code for tour tickets.
