Pioneer DJ Teams with Kaskade, Zedd, & More for VH1’s Save the Music

Pioneer DJ has launched the second Pioneer DJ Art Mix, a fund raising program that sees superstar DJs creating their own works of art using Pioneer CDJ-2000nexus music players as blank canvases. The completed works will be auctioned off online via to benefit VH1’s Save The Music Foundation, which aims to restore music education programs in public schools. The collection will also be displayed in a one-day exhibition on Thursday, October 10th at The Bank in Los Angeles.

Other artists involved in this collaborative project include NERVO, A-Trak, Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate, Zabiela, Morgan Page, 12th Planet, Ferry Corsten, Manufactured Superstars, amongst others. Fans can get involved, as well through Pioneer DJ Art Mix’s ReMixIt Design contest on Facebook, through which they can submit their own CDJ-2000nexus designs. Submissions will be accepted through September 15th, with the top designer will be awarded a Pioneer DDJ-SX controller and $1,000 cash prize, and three runner ups will receive Pioneer HDJ series DJ headphones.
