Nero Brings ‘Into The Night’ Alive with Colorful Anime Video

By  |

Nero made their much-anticipated return with their sophomore LP Between II Worlds earlier this year, and the celebrated electronic trio are continuing to push artistic boundaries with the release of the video for their single “Into The Night.”

Directed by Markus Lundqvist and Nero’s own Dan Stephans, the clip for “Into The Night” brings a colorful world to life with a vivid anime art style. Flipping between high-octane actions shots and gorgeous vignettes of an animated Nero performing in a packed club, the video is a thrilling piece of eye-candy that brings the progressive melodies to life.

Stephens reflected on his work co-directing the video, saying:

“It’s long been a dream for us to commission an animation video for one of our songs. We’ve always been huge fans of 80s and early 90s anime and we wanted to capture that look and put it into the NERO world. Markus Lundqvist and I talked about making this video for months (ever since he directed the video for The Thrill) so to have finally finished it and be releasing it feels very special. We’re so proud of this one and we hope you enjoy it.”
