Native Instruments has released its new Circuit Halo expansion for Maschine, allowing users to combine vintage synths and drum machine samples with contemporary patterns.

The new sound set combines multi-sampled synths, classic drum machines, custom glitch modulation effects, and new presets for the included Massive and Reaktor Prism synths. Some of the synthesizers sampled include the Roland Juno 60, Casio VL-Tone, Prophet 5, Yamaha DX7, Sequential Circuits Pro One, and Korg MS-20, all of which have been multi-sampled to accurately capture their characteristic warm low end and idiosyncrasies.

The drum sounds included come from both vintage and modern sources. The expansion also includes four Special Kits that contain a variety of effects, while Prism and Massive presets are also built-in.

Circuit Halo is available now in the Native Instruments Online Shop and runs exclusively on Maschine 2 software on Maschine Studio, Maschine, or Maschine Mikro. A compact version for the portable iMaschine app is also available via the in-app store.
