Native Instruments Adds Mixcloud Integration with Traktor DJ 1.4 Update

By  |

Native Instruments is further streamlining portable DJing with the new 1.4 update for its Traktor DJ iPhone/iPad app.  The most notable addition is in-app Mixcloud integration, allowing users to share their sets directly to their Mixcloud profile without the need to manually export and upload the file.

To celebrate its new partnership with Mixcloud, Native Instruments is giving DJs who upload a mix from the app the chance to win a paid weekend getaway to Ibiza. All mixes recorded and uploaded to Mixcloud from the app by May 31 will automatically be entered in the contest, with acid house DJ/producer A Guy Called Gerald judging the entries to choose a winner.

Native Instruments has also rolled out three new unlockable effects to the app’s creative features: Transpose Stretch, Iceverb, and Reverse Grain. All three can be accessed for free via an in-app notification window prompting the user to unlock. Additionally, playlist and subfolder editing has been improved and a variety of small stability and usability fixes have been implemented.

Traktor DJ 1.4 is available now for iPhone and iPad in the App Store, and is a free update for current users. For more information, go to
