Movement Detroit Announces Stages and Schedule

Movement Electronic Festival will take over Detroit, MI’s Hart Plaza in just a little over two weeks, and organizers have unveiled details of the event’s stages. Over 115 acts will descend upon the festival’s six stages from May 24-26, offering a diverse playground for underground music fans across the globe.

Red Bull Music Academy will return this year to present the festival’s Main Stage, which will include performances from headliners Underground Resistance presents: Timeline (Live), Richie Hawtin, and Carl Cox. Beatport will also make a repeat appearance with a stage showcasing a varied set of artists, including Claude VonStroke, Pete Tong, and Boys Noize. The Made in Detroit and Underground stages will bring together icons and rising stars, while Moog Music’s stage will bring the bass with trap headliners Just Blaze, Baauer, and DJ Snake. New to this year’s event is the Silent Disco stage presented by Sennheiser and Ford.

Detroit Movement 2014 will also serve to kick off America’s Best DJ Summer Tour Presented by Pioneer DJ & DJ Times, which will present 15 events across the country from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Stay tuned for ABDJ details.
