Moby, Wolfgang Gartner Talk Music as Medicine in New Film Kickstarter

By  |

A new Kickstarter campaign is raising funds to finish production on Before We Were Kings, a star-studded documentary aimed at showcasing the power of music as medicine through the lens of someone overcoming social anxiety with DJing. Featuring interviews with Moby, Wolfgang Gartner, Sander Kleinenberg, and more, the film attempts to show the effects of Music Therapy from a DJ’s perspective.

The filmmakers are attempting to raise $22,912 by the Kickstarter campaign’s April 9 end date in order to cover the expenses of filming critical scenes in New York to finish the film. As with all Kickstarter campaigns, backers can receive a variety of rewards based on the level of donation, from a Twitter thank you and post card to digital film copies, film merchandise, and even an appearance in the film.
