J.Phlip – Live from Movement Detroit 2014

By  |

This past May, the stars aligned for dirtybird artist J.Phlip when she was asked to fill in for Boys Noize’s closing set on the Beatport Stage of Detroit’s Movement Electronic Music Festival following his last-minute cancellation due to illness.

The San Francisco-based DJ/producer proceeded to pump out an explosive set of banging techno, tech house, and just about everything in the middle to the Detroit crowd. While the experience was eaten up by attendees, those not lucky enough to be at the festival have had no way of hearing the special one-off set. However, an hour-and-a-half recording of the set has surfaced, and J.Phlip herself has retweaked and remastered the EQ of the audio in order to finally let fans hear it.
