Hans Zimmer to Produce Tomorrowland Anthem

By  |

Legendary film composer Hans Zimmer has been tapped to create a classical hymn to commemorate and premiere during the 10th anniversary edition of Belgium’s Tomorrowland festival this July. The composer—known for his film scores including Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Da Vinci Code and The Dark Knight—created the piece in London’s famed AIR Studios with his symphony orchestra.

Zimmer spoke of the ten-minute composition and his inspirations behind it, saying:

“Tomorrowland is a known quantity to me and after ten years I think they deserve something special for their anniversary. It should be culturally diverse and should somehow represent the whole world. The hymn is about bringing different cultures together. All the things that make us different are actually the things we should be celebrating.”

Tomorrowland returns to Belgium for two weekends from July 18-20 and 25-27. Preview Hans Zimmer’s Tomorrowland hymn below, and go to Tomorrowland.com for more information.
