Considering Electric Zoo’s share of controversies, tragedies, and shutdowns in the past few years, it seems like nothing heard is something gained with this year’s installment going off without a hitch.
This year, the festival returned to New York City’s Randall’s Island from September 4-6, reborn as Electric Zoo Transformed. Boasting three days of stacked stage lineups (including headliners Alesso, The Chemical Brothers, and Above & Beyond), jaw-dropping production, and fired up attendees, the festival gave New Yorkers an unforgettable experience that will last until its next installment.
