Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival returned to Williamsburg for its eighth annual installment, bringing more than two nights of music of music to eight venues across the city.

With its formative years behind it, BEMF has settled into its place in New York’s ClubWorld landscape as firmly established dance institution. On November 7-8, Brooklyn clubbers headed out in droves to take in its signature sights and sounds.

The highlights? As always, organizers brought in a wealth of electronic music’s hippest and brightest acts, from its legendary headliners to its taste-making, cutting-edge acts.

Verboten proved to be the choice location for many a raver both nights, as the club boasted a once-in-a-lifetime B2B from Soul Clap and Masters At Work on Friday and an unforgettable night with Armand van Helden and Will Clarke on Saturday. Over at Cameo Gallery, Honey Dijon laid down some sweet, sweet techno on Saturday. In the photo-prohibited Output, our November coverstar Marc ‘MK’ Kinchen laid down pulsing piano house anthems, with Disciples—the trio best known for hooking up with Calvin Harris for this summer’s crossover smash “How Deep Is Your Love.”

Here’s some of what we saw.
