Serato has released the 1.5 Update to Serato DJ, which adds support for Serato Control Vinyl/CDJ control with new Serato DJ Noisemap DVS hardware. This allows users with Rane Sixty-Four and Pioneer DJM-900SRT mixers to use Serato DJ in conjunction with CDJs and turntables. Those familiar with Scratch Live will recognize the identical control modes: Absolute, Relative, and Internal.
The update also packs a few other features as well as bug fixes. Users can now change the color of the played tracks in their libraries. Now, already-played tracks can be displayed as either the current gray option or a brand new neon blue color. Additionally, a new Simple Sync option is available, as well as the option to snap to beatgrids.
