Amidst a relocation to Los Angeles, BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix host Pete Tong has unveiled plans for a Fall US tour and the full lineup for his It’s All Gone Pete Tong arena at this month’s TomorrowWorld festival in Atlanta. After spending part of the year around the US, including performing at Coachella, hosting a weekly show on Clear Channel’s Evolution radio, and bringing his IMS conference to LA in April, Tong has planned a full US tour this fall. Kicking off at Sound in Los Angeles on September 20th, he will perform 16 dates in the country, culminating December 7th in Detroit.
The tour itinerary includes a TomorrowWorld appearance on September 28th. Tong will host the All Gone Pete Tong arena on the second day of the Atlanta festival, and will include performances from Dubfire, Maya Jane Coles, Joris Voorn, Breach, Fehrplay, Michael de Hey, and Monty Luke in addition to Pete Tong himself.
Despite the move to America, Tong’s BBC Radio 1 hosting schedule will not be affected. Speaking about the move, Tong said,
“The electronic dance music scene in the USA has reached a critical mass and the opportunities for our world are taking us into unchartered territory. I feel now its essential to be in the middle of all that.”
