DJ Times & SKAM Artist’s Summer Jams 2014 Playlist – Bad Boy Bill

Over the past month, DJ Times has talked with some of SKAM Artist’s finest acts to get their picks for the quintessential summer jams for 2014. With playlists from Richard Vission, Caroline D’Amato, DJ Irie, and VICE, we’ve compiled the soundtrack for those long summer days and nights.

For the fifth and final installment, Bad Boy Bill takes the reigns. Hailing from the Chicago, Bill has been an active force in the house music scene since the mid 1980s. An accomplished turntablist in his own right, Bill has achieved a long and storied career on both the competition circuit and the production realm—including the release of his debut album Bad Boy Bill: The Album in 2009. This summer, he’s released his new single “Can You Feel It,” a rowdy electro house anthem perfect for peak hours at the club.

Zhu – “Faded” (2014)
“This song is amazing and the lyrics are full of emotion. Whether it’s the deeper original mix or the remix from 16-year-old prodigy Steve James, I don’t think you can go wrong.”

Lazy Rich and Hot Mouth – “Flash” (2014)
“It has a really funky groove and it’s filled with energy to get your summer going!”

Michael Jackson – “Love Never Felt So Good (Fedde Le Grand Remix)” (2014)
“This song just makes you feel good, and Fedde murdered the remix! Plus: it’s a new song by Michael Jackson! End of story.”

TJR & Vinai – “Bounce Generation” (2014)
“TJR slipped me this track in advance of the release, and every time I played it people lost their minds. This is an all-out dancefloor assault, and it takes no prisoners.”

Bad Boy Bill & Steve Smooth  – “Feel Alive” (2014)
“Of course I had to throw my song in there! It’s been getting a great response so far and since everything feels so alive during the summer, this song fits in perfectly.”
