Disclosure Premiere New Track “Apollo”
Right in the midst of a North American tour, the boys of Disclosure have unexpectedly dropped a new track. Named after the Greek god of the Sun, “Apollo” flies straight toward the dancefloor with an unabashedly house approach, eschewing most of the pop hooks present on Settle for deeper basslines and a club-ready structure. While mostly instrumental, soulful female vocal accents embellish the production, which features a set of shuffling hi-hats and a distinct percussive rhythm. Distorted synth gestures round out the record and give the track a dark, ominous tone that is bound to go over well during any late-night set.
There’s no release date for “Apollo” yet, but it can be streamed above.
