Denon DJ is kicking off 2016 in a big way with the announcement of the MCX8000, a hardware/software controller that works in conjunction with Serato DJ or standalone with its own Engine software.

The all-in-one unit is equipped with a pair of illuminated jog wheels, two high-definition displays showing Engine and Serato DJ operation, velocity-sensitive performance pads, and a professional 4-channel digital mixer, making the MCX8000 ready to go right from unboxing. The standalone Engine software allows for freedom from a laptop, with two USB inputs allowing for playback directly from the controller as well as during Serato DJ mode. Other feature highlights include a metal construction, an Ethernet connection for lighting and video control, three built-in Engine instant effects, and compatibility with Serato DVS upgrades.

The MCX8000 will be available next month. For more information, go to DenonDJ.com
