Cut Copy has launched a new North American DJ tour ahead of a selection of live dates later this fall.

Having launched the tour this past weekend, Cut Copy’s Dan Whitford and Tim Hoey have stops planned at Costa Mesa, CA’s La Cave, Los Angeles’ A Club Called Rhonda, Toronto’s Studio, and more. The tour will also include a stop at Chicago’s Mamby On The Beach Festival on July 11 ahead of its culmination on July 18 at San Francisco’s Mezzanine. Along the way, Cutters labelmate Knightlife will join the boys as support.

Frontman Dan Whitford spoke of the tour, saying:

“We’ve always DJed as long as the band has been around, and club culture is an important part of what Cut Copy is about… From the Fabric Live series Cut Copy mixed in 2006, to the underground Melbourne dance compilation Oceans Apart that we curated and mixed last year, this has been an important part of our musical makeup. So I guess it’s probably overdue that we’re finally doing proper DJ touring this year.”

Additionally, the band has three live shows planned in September, with appearances at The Rialto Theatre in Tucson, the Mad Decent Block Party in Los Angeles, and more. The full tour dates are below. For more information, go to CutCopy.net
