Awakenings Festival 2014 to Include Extra Day
Holland’s Awakenings Festival 2014 is one to go down in the books.
For the first time in 14 years, the festival will be two days: Saturday June, 28th and Sunday June 29th. It will be held in a recreational park called Spaarnwoude Houtrak, located between Amsterdam, Haarlem and Velsen. While the festival may be a bit difficult to get to if you’re from the United States, it’s really worth the travel.
Starting at noon and ending at 11 PM, this year’s line up includes Adam Beyer, Skream, Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, Joris Voorn and Sven Väth. Up and coming artists Clouds, Breach, Finnebassen, Blawan and others are also playing. Total, there are over 100 international acts and DJ performing.
With the added day, certain acts on the line-up are playing for both days, meaning the audience that misses an act on Day 1 has the chance to catch up on Day 2.
Get your tickets soon, this event is selling out quickly. For the last couple of years, the festival has always sold out in advance. It’s really something not to miss out on.
