Aruba To Launch Electric Festival in September With Chuckie, Hardwell

By  |

Announced today, Aruba will host the first ever Electric Festival from September 6th through September 8th with an initial lineup that includes Aruba resident Chuckie, Hardwell, and Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash. The event, which will be the largest of its type in the Caribbean, is a joint venture with the Aruba Tourism Authority, Amsterdam Dance Event, Even Pro, and Chuckie’s own Dirty Dutch. The organizers of the event promise it will be “more than just a dance music event by encompassing and portraying creative arts, cuisine and lifestyle in general.”

Electric Festival comes on the heels of Chuckie’s past Aruban birthday celebrations, which has grown into 8000-person dance music event as of last year. Additionally, the launch of the festival will include Solarbeats, an initiative of Play Foundation aimed at bringing the youth together through a love of music. During Solarbeats, the foundation will announce the Ultimate School contest, which gives schools in the area a chance to win with Chuckie, among other prizes.

More artists and details are to be revealed in the coming weeks. In the meantime, go to and watch the teaser trailer here.
