Amsterdam Dance Event Conference Announces First Round of Topics & Speakers
With Amsterdam Dance Event set to return to from October 15-19, organizers have begun to solidify the program’s plans with the announcement of the first round of topics and speakers.
Marting Garrix and Oliver Heldens will each participate in Q&A sessions as part of ADE Next on October 18. The ADE Green conference on sustainability and sustainable business practices will include talks from both DJ/producer Nicky Romero and influential Woodstock resident Michael Lang on October 15 at Brakke Grond. Additionally, Bandsintown CEO Julien Mitelberg will host a Q&A at ADE University as well as taking part in mentoring sessions.
ADE has also announced the first names for their ADE Playground program, offering music enthusiasts a large and varied daytime program—including five days of exhibitions, in-store promotions, pop-up stores, and film screenings across the city center. The events are open to the public and will feature free gear workshops from Ableton, Waves and Native Instruments.
Patrons with an ADE Card will also have access to ADE MusicTalks at the Brakke Grond. While the full lineup of the MusicTalks has yet to be announced, Hans Zimmer, Boy George, and Junkie XL are all confirmed to speak.
