Amine Edge & DANCE Reveal Top 5 Set Weapons ahead of Space Ibiza NY Show
Bass, booty, and beats: these are the three essential ingredients of Amine Edge & DANCE.
The French DJ/production duo has made a name for themselves as G-House trailblazers, bringing together the swagger of 80s and 90s hip hop with contemporary bass house aesthetics. This trademark combination has earned themselves fans around the world and amongst their industry peers, having notched a Essential Mix on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio One show and multiple seasons of packed parties at Sankeys Ibiza onto their belt.
This Saturday, the pair is bringing their fiery CUFF imprint to Space Ibiza New York, giving G-House fans a packed night of performances from Sirus Hood, Mike Palladino, and Amine Edge & DANCE themselves.
We caught up with the boys to find out five tracks that have been burning up their DJ sets recently. Listen to their picks below and grab tickets to the event at SpaceIbizaNY.com
Tim Baresko – “Marilyn Monroe (Original Mix)”
“It’s a sick tech house track from our boy Tim. Every time we play it the reactions are immediate! We love the beat and the fact that the singer is very mellow on the tune.”
Elomak – “Mocha Blanc (Original Mix)”
“Another tech house track that we played the most this past year. The track is powerful and energetic. Elomak is a genius; he never disappoints.”
DJ Deeon – “Freaky Freaky (Amine Edge & DANCE’s Codeine Juke Edit)”
“We did this edit for our bro Debo like three years ago, and it is one of the most wanted by people when we play it. When we do play it, it’s a storm.”
SION – “Gurlz (Original Mix”)
“It’s what we call in the business ‘a massive banger.’ Every time and anywhere we play this tune, it’s an earthquake. Very melodic before the drop, and then it’s just simple and effective with kick, clap, and bass.”
Wildchild – “Renegade Master (Original Mix)”
“Wildchild was a kid from Southampton in the UK. Everybody know this massive hit, but nobody knows that he died at only 24 back in 1995 and left behind the best house music ever created. All his tunes are insane. We wanted to show him some love today and give some props because he was one of our biggest influences.”
