Ruby Skye: Robbie Rivera performs to the San Francisco crowd.

New York, NY – Following some San Franciscan fun, the America’s Best DJ Summer Tour Presented by Pioneer DJ & DJ Times is pulling double duty this weekend with stops in both New York City and Denver, CO.

This past Saturday, we posted up at San Francisco’s Ruby Skye for nominee Robbie Rivera’s performance.  The Miami-based DJ played a night full of house, channeling the energy of his Juicy Beach parties and turning the California crowd out with tunes perfect for the summer months.

Marquee: Sleepy & Boo will host their signature event in New York City this Friday.

The double dose of ABDJ fun kicks off this Friday at Marquee NYC for nominee Sleepy & Boo’s signature Sleepy & Boo + Friends event. It’s sure to be a rowdy party, as the married pair will be celebrating Sleepy’s birthday. With performances from Brian Cid and Philippe V in addition to Sleepy & Boo themselves, the beats will be pumping from open until close.

For those in the Mile-High City of Denver, CO this weekend, we’ll also be hosting a dedicated voting booth at the Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks. The festival returns for its 12th year, packing three days of music and festivities into the legendary venue. Four ABDJ nominees are playing the fest: Carnage and Gabriel & Dresden on Friday, Alvin Risk on Saturday, and Wolfgang Gartner on Sunday.

Ruby Skye: A group of fans vote for their favorite ABDJ nominees.

At both events, DJ Times will host a dedicated America’s Best DJ booth to collect votes and hand out copies of the magazine. Each voter will earn a chance to win prizes from sponsors Pioneer DJ and G-Shock, as well as a trip for two to Las Vegas for the America’s Best DJ Award Ceremony/Closing Party on Oct. 12, at which the DJ having earned the most votes will be crowned and presented with a gold-plated Pioneer DJM-900nxs mixer.

Can’t make it to these events?  Fans can still vote online for up to five of their favorite DJs at www.americasbestdj.us to earn another chance to win prizes.

We’ll see you on the dancefloor.
