Algoriddim Launches 2.6 Update to djay iOS App with GE Collaboration

Algoriddim’s popular djay 2 software has received its version 2.6 update, bringing users enhanced Spotify integration and a brand-new sound pack stemming from a collaboration with General Electric.

For its first-ever branded sound pack, Algoriddm has released the GE Drop Science Pack into the app. The pack is a byproduct of GE’s recent partnership with Matthew Dear, the result of which was Dear’s track “Drop Science” that featured sound samples from the company’s research centers around the world. Now, djay 2 users can access these 12 sounds to remix and mashup their own songs.

Spotify integration with djay 2 has also been improved, allowing users to mix in key from their Spotify libraries. The BPM and key information for millions of songs from Spotify have been pre-analyzed and are visible instantly when browsing through the app’s media library. Additionally, Algoriddim has again partnered with Pioneer DJ, adding an optimized user interface that tailors precisely for the new DDJ-WeGo3 controller.

djay 2.6 is available now for iPhone and iPad via the App Store. For more information, go to Algoriddim.com
