Algoriddim Announces djay Pro for Mac

By  |

Algoriddim has unveiled djay Pro, the first professional version of its popular djay desktop app.

The djay Pro software was built exclusively for OS X and takes full advantage of the computing power with 64-bit processing, multi-core track analysis, Retina and 5K display support, graphics rendered at 60 frames per second, and pristine sound quality. The software offers djay’s traditional turntable view as well as more advanced modes including horizontal and vertical colored waveforms, live sampler and drum pads, FX racks, and a four-deck view allowing DJs to play, mix, and sync up to four tracks simultaneously.

djay Pro is the first desktop DJ software featuring Spotify integration, giving Spotify Premium users instant access to over 20 million songs. Users can browse through Spotify playlists and charts complete with instant access to BPM and Key information for songs, and cloud-based song recommendations are provided by The Echo Nest.

djay Pro supports 50 MIDI controllers—including ones from Pioneer, Numark, and Reloop—out of the box, and users can map controllers themselves to the functions within the software. Cue Points, beat grid edits, meta data, and FX purchases from iOS versions of djay will automatically sync to djay Pro via iCloud.
