Ableton Live users can now download the free 9.2 update, which brings new features, tweaks, and other improvements to the DAW.

The new update is available to all owners of Live 9 and includes refinements to the program’s audio warping engine, the introduction of latency-compensated automation, a new Tuner device, and more. Push owners now have improved after touch and expanded touch implementation as well as having the ability to use all 64 pads to play drums. Max For Live now includes Max 7.

To coincide with the release of 9.2, Ableton has released a free pack optimized to make use of Push’s expanded 64-pad functionality. Compiled by Mad Zach, the 64 Pad Lab contains five Racks’ worth of drum samples percussion, loops, and one shots. Watch a video of Mad Zach working with the 64 pad layout below.
